This is an application for amendment in the head note and the prayer clause of the main petition as Section 118(2) BNS, 2023 (Section 326 IPC, 1860) has been added later on vide DDR No.32 dated 25.06.2025 and the same be read alongwith the Sections already mentioned therein.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed. Let Section 118(2) BNS, 2023 (326 IPC, 1860) be added/read alongwith the Sections already mentioned in the head note and the prayer clause of the main petition.

This application stands disposed of.

The petitioner seeks the grant of anticipatory bail under Section 482 BNSS, 2023 in a cross-case bearing DDR No.33 dated 23.06.2025 under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 190, 191(3), 351(3), 61(2) BNS, 2023 and Section 118(2) BNS (added later on) at Police Station Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur in FIR No.121 dated 22.06.2025 under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 118(2), 190, 191(3), 351(3), 61(2) BNS, 2023 registered at Police Station Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 26.02.2026 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

The learned State counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation in terms of the order dated 26.02.2026 and is not required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, the interim order dated 26.02.2026 is made absolute.

However, the petitioner shall keep on joining the investigation as and when required to do so and he shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) BNSS.

The petition stands disposed of.
