The instant Original Application (OA) has been filed by the applicants under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, seeking direction to the respondents to allow them to submit their option-cum-preference for post(s)/organization(s) as per the advertisement for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quality Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2022.
Learned counsel for the applicants, after arguing the matter states that the applicants would be satisfied if the Tribunal permits them to submit their representations to the respondents and the respondents may be directed to dispose of the same within a limited time frame. The respondents may also be restrained from declaring the result before the disposal of their representations.
When a query was made to the learned counsel for the respondents about the date of declaration of result, he states that he is not sure as to when the result would be declared.
After hearing both the learned counsel, it is felt that the ends of justice would be met by directing the counsel for the applicants to advise his clients to submit individual representations addressed to the respondents bringing out their pleas in detail within a period of two weeks and by directing the respondents to dispose of the said representations of the applicants, within one week on receipt of the same. It is also directed that the result qua the applicants shall not be declared before the disposal of the said representations.
With these directions, the OA stands disposed of.
Pending MAs, if any, shall also stand disposed of accordingly.
No order as to costs.
