Petitioners filed WPSS No. 1877 of 2015. The said writ petition was allowed by Writ Court vide order dated 05.04.2017.
Alleging disobedience of the said order, petitioners have filed this Contempt Petition.
Learned Deputy Advocate General has produced in Court today the judgment rendered by Division Bench of this Court in Special Appeal No. 488
of 2017. Perusal of the said judgment reveals that the order passed by Writ Court in favour of the petitioners was set aside and the matter was
remanded back to the Writ Court.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has apprised the Court that, after remand, the matter is pending before Writ Court.
Since the order, contempt whereof has been alleged, does not exist, therefore, Contempt Petition is closed.
Contempt notices issued to the respondents are hereby discharged.
