6 paragraphs · 153 wordsThe contempt petition has been filed on the ground that the interim order dated 20.9.1999 passed by this court has not been complied with by which the oral termination of the petitioner who was daily wager was stayed and the petitioner was allowed to work and was also directed to be paid salary.
In para 5 of the counter affidavit it has been stated that the petitioner who is a daily wager has been reengaged and the wages as admissible to him are being paid.
It is also submitted that the writ petition itself is pending.
In the circumstances in my opinion no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the contempt petition pending as the order of this court has been complied with.
The contempt petition is accordingly dismissed. However, if the petitioner finds there is any grievance, he may approach the writ court for redressal.
The notice if issued, stands discharged.
