Kurian Joseph, C.J.—The writ petition is filed with the following prayer:

(1) That writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued and the respondent department may be directed to regularize the services of the petitioner from the date when he completed 8 years of contract service pursuant to Annexure P-1 or in the alternative the respondent department may kindly be directed to grant the benefit of work charge status on completion of 10 years of daily wage service in view of the judgments rendered by this Hon''ble Court.

It is for the petitioner to approach the second respondent, in which case, the second respondent will get an opportunity to examine the case of the petitioner in terms of the policy framed by the Government and subject to availability of vacancy for regularization of the services of the petitioner as per the Regularization Scheme. In the event of the petitioner filing a representation within one month from today, the matter will be duly considered by the second respondent and appropriate orders in accordance with law in the matter will be passed within another four months. In case the petitioner requests for an opportunity of hearing, the same shall also be granted. The petitioner will produce a copy of this judgment and a copy of the writ petition along with the representation before the second respondent.

The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending applications, if any.
