This writ petition has been filed by an Association of Schools affiliated to CBSE & ICSE in Uttarakhand.

According to the petitioners, a complaint was made by the said Association to the Director General of School Education, Dehradun on 20.11.2020, which was referred by Director General of School Education to the Director of School Education, Dehradun for inquiry vide letter dated 27.11.2020.

Mr. M.C. Pant, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the matter is pending before Director of School Education and he is yet to complete the inquiry.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Director of School Education, Dehradun to look into the complaint referred by Director General of School Education and pass appropriate order, in accordance with law, preferably within four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. It goes without saying that before passing any order, Director of School Education, shall also hear all the stakeholders, including parents of the students.
