Writ Petition (S/S) No. 3724 of 2018 filed by the petitioner was disposed of by Writ Court vide order dated 17.09.2020 with a direction to the State

Government to fix salary of the petitioner in the revised pay scale of Rs. 1400-2600, in terms of Government Order dated 19.07.1989.

Alleging disobedience of the said order, petitioner has filed this Contempt Petition.

A compliance affidavit has been filed by Mr. R. Meenakshi Sundram, Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Government of Uttarakhand. In paragraph no.

7 of the said affidavit, it has been stated that a sum of `17,35,789/- has been deposited in the bank account no. 30710354596 of the petitioner in State

Bank of India, Branch Pithoragarh. In paragraph no. 8, it has been stated that pay scale of the petitioner has been revised to Rs. 1400-2600 (now Rs.

9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-) and petitioner has also been paid arrears of salary.

In view of the statement made in the compliance affidavit that the order passed by Writ Court has been complied with, the Contempt Petition is

closed.

Contempt notices issued to the respondents are hereby discharged.
