The petitioners Charan Singh and Sarvjeet Singh seek quashing of FIR No.340 of 2023, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 504 and 506 IPC, Police Station Sitarganj, District- Udham Singh Nagar, on the basis of amicable settlement between the parties. A joint compounding application has been filed along with the affidavits.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

According to the FIR, based on the offer made by the petitioners, the informant, who is the respondent no.4, invested huge amount in their business, but, subsequently, the benefits were not given to the informant.

Learned counsel for the parties would submit that parties have amicably settled the dispute.

Both the petitioners and the respondent no.4, the informant, are present before this Court. They all are identified by their respective counsel. They have accepted the compromise.

Having considered all the attending factors, this Court is of the view that it is a case, which may be decided on the basis of amicable settlement between the parties. Accordingly, the petition deserves to be allowed.

Accordingly, the petition is allowed. The FIR No.340 of 2023, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 504 and 506 IPC, Police Station Sitarganj, District- Udham Singh Nagar, is hereby quashed.

Compounding Application No. 01 of 2023 stands disposed of, accordingly.
