Ram Chand Gupta, J.—The present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Code of Criminal Procedure read with Section 4 of the Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1988, is for issuance of directions to the Respondents to decide the pending furlough application of the Petitioner.

It has been contended by learned Counsel for the Petitioner that Petitioner moved an application before Respondent No. 3, i.e., Superintendent of Jail, District Jail, Karnal, and the same was also forwarded by Respondent No. 3 to Respondent Nos. 2 and 4 vide dispatch numbers 13172-73 dated 24.7.2010, as he was found entitled as per Rules and however, no action has been taken on the same so far by Respondent Nos. 2 and 4.

Hence, in view of these facts and as per request, the present petition is disposed of with direction to the Respondents to consider and decide the application of the Petitioner for his release on furlough as per law, Rules and Instructions on the point, within two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
