Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that proceeding under the Insolvency and Bankcruptcy Code (IBC) is going on against the petitioner. Counsel appearing for the respondent is unaware about any claim which is to be lodged by Union of India (UOI) before any authority whenever the petitioner is filing an application under IBC before the NCLT, Mumbai.
We expect from the UOI to have atleast a knowledge whether the UOI should lodge a claim in such an eventuality.
Copy of this order shall be sent to the Secretary, DoT initially by Fax and then by Registered Post by the Registry of this Tribunal.
The matter is adjourned to 23.8.2022.
