M. Jaichandren, J.—Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned Counsels appearing for the Respondents.

At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondents had submitted that if the Petitioner files her objections relating to the property tax payable by her, as claimed by the Respondents, the same would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed, on merits and in accordance with law.

In view of the said submissions made by the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondents, the impugned notice, dated 27.12.2010, is set aside. The Petitioner shall file her objections before the first Respondent in respect of the demand made by the Respondents for payment of property tax by the Petitioner, as per the impugned notice, dated 27.12.2010, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such objections, the first Respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

The writ petition is ordered accordingly. No costs.

Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
