Ajay Kumar Mittal, J.—The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to release the payment of the petitioner for work order No. 12 dated 24.10.2006 (Annexure P/1) which has been successfully completed by the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the representation dated 23.12.2011 (Annexure P-2) served by the petitioner upon respondents No. 3 & 4 and states that no decision has so far been taken thereon.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner, perusing the petition and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 4 to take a decision on the representation in accordance with law by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. It is further directed that in case the amount is found to be payable, the same shall be released to the petitioner within next one month.
