By way of present petition filed under Ss. 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Art. 215 of the Constitution of India,, prayer has been made on behalf of the petitioner for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents, for their having willfully disobeyed the mandate contained in order dated 26.9.2022 passed by this Court in CWP No. 6034 of 2022 titled Hem Raj v. Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited and another, whereby the petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P-4 of writ petition), within a period of six weeks. Since no action whatsoever came to be taken by the respondents, petitioner has approached this Court in the instant proceedings, for execution of the order in question.

Mr. L.N. Sharma, learned counsel for the respondents states that though he has every reason to believe that the needful in terms of the order in question must have been done by now, but if not, same would be done within four weeks.

Having taken note of the fair stand adopted by learned counsel for the respondents, this Court sees no reason to keep the present proceedings alive and same are disposed of with a direction to the respondents to do the needful, if not already done, in terms of order in question, within a period of four weeks from today. Needless to say, petitioners shall be at liberty to get the present petition revived, in case, respondents fail to comply with the order in question, so that appropriate contempt proceedings are initiated against the erring officials.

Petition stands disposed of in the afore terms.
