CWP No.9635 of 2011-D.
The writ petition is filed with the following prayer:-
a) That impugned transfer orders, Annexure P-4, may very kindly be quashed and set aside with directions to respondents No.1 & 2 to permit the petitioner to continue at the present place of posting i.e. Electrical Division, Ani for a normal tenure of three years i.e. until superannuation of the petitioner, in the interest of law and justice.
On 11.11.2011, this Court passed the following order:-

The petitioner submits that there are vacancies available at Anni or around. Learned Standing Counsel for the Electricity Board seeks time to verify as to whether there is any vacancy in and around Anni where the petitioner can be continued for the time being.
Post on 15.11.2011. In the meantime, the petitioner may not be compelled to join the transferred station and it will be open to him to avail leave of the kind due.
The learned Standing Counsel for respondents No.1 and 2 submits that there are six vacancies available in Electrical Division, Kumar Sain and that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is also a vacancy available at Jagatkhana.
Therefore, the petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and take appropriate action thereon in accordance with law, adverting also to the vacancy available in the place pointed out by the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of production of a copy of this judgment alongwith a copy of the writ petition by the petitioner before the first respondent. The pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
