By way of instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:-

i. That the respondent corporation may kindly be directed to consider the case of the petitioner for giving regular status and regularize his services w.e.f. the date of giving him employment on contract basis i.e. w.e.f. 13-09-2017 in view of Annexure P-2.

ii. That the respondent corporation may kindly be directed to pay all consequential benefits with interest @12% per annum in the interest of justice and fair play."

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, states that his client would be content and satisfied in case his case is ordered to be considered and decided in accordance with judgment dated 8.2.2019, passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, in Civil Appeal Nos. 1557-1564 of 2019 (arising out of SLP(C) Nos. 16158-16165/2016, titled Himachal Road Transport Corporation v. Lekh Ram etc.etc (Annexure P-2), in a time ... bound manner. Learned counsel for the respondents is not averse to the aforesaid prayer made on behalf of the petitioner.

Consequently, in view of above, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents/ competent authority to decide the case of the petitioner in light of the aforesaid judgment, within a period of four weeks from today. Needless to say, respondents/competent authority, while doing the needful, shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass a speaking order thereupon. Liberty is also reserved to the petitioner to approach appropriate court of law at appropriate time, if he still remains aggrieved. All pending applications also stand disposed of.
