Judgment
Sabina, J.—Petitioners have filed this petition u/s 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondent Nos. 4 and 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 11.9.2012. Certificate (Annexure P-3) in this regard has been issued by Gurudwara Shri Dugh Niwarn Sahib, Guru Teg Bahadur Colony, Opahloi Road, Sangrur. Photographs of marriage ceremony are annexed as Annexure P-4. He has further submitted that the petitioners have moved a representation to Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur (Annexure P-5) but no action has been taken so far.
Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur-respondent No. 2 is directed to look into the representation made by the petitioners (Annexure P-5) and if required, necessary protection be provided to them. Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
