The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the 2nd respondent to expeditiously consider Exts.P4 and P5 applications filed by the petitioner for changing the nature of the land as recorded in the Revenue records. The applications are filed under Section 6A of the Kerala Land Tax Act. According to the petitioner, the records are to be corrected as the petitioner was already permitted to convert the land in terms of the provisions contained in the KLU order.

The learned Government Pleader would submit that there is no objection in a direction being issued to the 2nd respondent to consider Exts.P4 and P5, in accordance with the law.

Accordingly, the writ petition will stand disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider Exts.P4 and P5 in accordance with the law. It will be open to the petitioner to point out to the 2nd respondent any judgment that the petitioner may rely on to substantiate his claim for changing the nature of the land in the Revenue records.

The writ petition will stand disposed of as above.
