Petitioners undertake to affirm and stamp the petition/application as per Rules within 48 hours of resumption of normal functioning of the court. Subject to such undertaking, the application is taken up for hearing through video conferencing.

The application bearing CRAN 2199 of 2020 is disposed of.

Heard the learned advocates appearing for both the parties.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that there was a loan transaction between petitioner no.1 and the de facto complainant and the petitioners were falsely implicated in this case as petitioner no.1 had failed to repay the loan amount.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Having considered the materials on record in the light of the aforesaid submission made on behalf of the petitioners, we are inclined to grant pre-arrest bail to the petitioners subject to conditions.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.4000/- (Rupees Four Thousand only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and on further condition that the petitioner no.1 shall meet the officer-in-charge of the concerned police station once in a week until further orders.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, allowed.
