Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AC to GP 18 for the State.

The petitioner has moved the Court for the following reliefs:

"A) For the issuance of appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions to the concerned Respondent authorities to immediately take action on the application dated 28.11.2019 (Annexure-3) filed by the petitioner before the concerned respondents for declaration of Title on the land upon while petitioner and her family members are residing for last several decades in the light of Gazette publication dated 11.11.2014 (Annexure-1) issued by the Revenue and Land Reforms Department of the state govt. regarding declaration of title of the tenants on the basis of possession over the land for more than 30 years.

B) For direction to the respondent concerned to decide the issue raised by the petitioner expeditiously and after completing the all formalities and to enter her name in Jambandi Register and to issue revenue receipt of the said land within a reasonable period.

C) For any other relief/reliefs to which the petitioner is found entitled under the facts and circumstances of the present case."

After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition be disposed off with liberty to approach the authorities concerned for settlement of the land on which she has been residing for decades, as she has no other land.

Having regard to the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed off with liberty aforesaid.

If the petitioner applies for settlement of the land in her favour on the basis of being landless, such plea shall be considered by the authorities, in accordance with law, especially taking into account the various resolutions on this subject issued by the State. If such an application is filed within one month from today, the authorities concerned shall take matters to their logical conclusion latest within a period of three months from the date of filing of the application.
