Pramath Patnaik, J.—In the instant writ application, the petitioner has inter alia prayed for direction to the respondents for payment of Rs.21,250/- which has been left in counting of General Provident Fund in the year 1999-2000 and the essential Group Insurance in the year, April 1997 to April, 1999 as contained in Annexure-2 and arrear of bill in year 1997 to 1999.

2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was appointed as Assistant Teacher and retired on 31.07.2004 as a Head Master. In this regard, petitioner has submitted representation vide Annexure-3 dated 24.07.2015 to the respondent ventilating his grievances but the said representation has failed to evoke any response from the respondent authorities. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that if a direction is issued to the respondent nos.4 and 5 for rechecking of the calculation with regard to G.P.F then the grievance of the petitioner shall be mitigated.

3.

Learned J.C. to A.A.G does not have serious objection to that course of action.

4.

In view of the limited nature of grievance and without delving into the merit of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty given to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation within a period of three weeks from today. On receipt of such representation, the respondents shall consider the same in accordance with law and shall pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of twelve weeks thereafter, which shall also be communicated to the petitioner.

5.

It is needless to mention that if the claim of the petitioner regarding admissible retirement benefits like G.P.F and Group Insurance are found to be genuine and legally admissible, the same shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks thereafter.

6.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
