P.Somarajan, J

The petitioner and the counsel remained absent. Junior Advocate Sri. Arun Muralidharan appeared through the Virtual Court. No plausible reason

advanced with respect to the absence of the counsel. The impugned order or copy thereof is not produced. The prayer in the application is to give

interim custody of the vehicle which was seized in connection with the offence under the NDPS Act. As such, Section 451 Cr.P.C. will not stand

attracted. Nothing mentioned whether any application was submitted to the competent authority, the District Drug Disposal Committee. They were not

made as parties to the application. It really amounts to misuse of process of the court and as such, the same is liable to be dismissed in limine. I do so.

The Writ Petition is dismissed in limine.
