T.R. Ramachandran Nair, J.—The Petitioner was a claimant for the post of Librarian Grade IV under the Respondent. The Petitioner was successful in the test and interview and was included as serial No. 39 in the main list. The prayer this writ petition is for a direction to the Respondent to advise the Petitioner in any one of the available post of Librarian Grade IV in the Respondent Organisation.

2.

A counter affidavit has been filed by the Respondent. Therein, it is pointed out that even though there were 37 vacancies of Librarian Grade IV at the time of invitation of application for the post, IHRD could fill up only 25 vacancies due to financial crisis. It is further pointed out that 9 NJD vacancies are sought to be from the existing rank list. It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the IHRD that all the 9 candidates have now joined and the claim of the Petitioner for appointment will be considered when vacancy the arises in the near future.

Recording the above submission, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
