Petitioner, a PWD Contractor was conferred with a tender work viz., “Budget Work 2019-2020-Improvements to BC overlay to Kodakara –Kodungallur road from 0/000 to 3/200”.
The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has completed the work and submitted the bill for payment but the same is not released by the 2nd respondent i.e., the Executive Engineer, PWD Road & Bridges Division, Thrissur. Thereupon, petitioner has submitted Exhibit P3 representation before the 2nd respondent, which is pending consideration. The sole relief sought for is consideration of Exhibit P3.
Having heard learned counsel for petitioner Sri.Sebastian Joseph (Kurisummoottil) and learned Senior Government Pleader Smt.Reshmi.K.M., this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent to finalise Exhibit P3, at the earliest, and at any rate, within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, after providing a notice of hearing to the petitioner.
