Heard the parties.
The petitioner who had successfully passed her “Wastania” examination in the year 2004, as a regular student from Madarsa Islamia Sugia Katsari under the Bihar State Madarsa Education Board (hereinafter referred to as 'the Board'). Further cleared “Fauquania” examination in the year 2006 and subsequently “Maulvi” examination in the year 2008, as a student of Madarsa Islamia, Falahul Muslemeen, Sheohar has approached this Court seeking a direction upon the respondent Board and its Secretary and Controller of Examination to correct the name of the petitioner and her father in the certificate as well as mark-sheet of “Wastania” and “Fauquania” issued by respondent nos. 5 to 7 to the petitioner.
Learned Advocate for the petitioner contended that there was a slight mistake in the name of the petitioner and her father in both the certificates of Wastania” and “Fauquania”, for which the petitioner approached before the Controller of Examination and the Secretary of the Board, but despite all her persuasion, till date the minor correction in her name and her father’s name have not been done compelling the petitioner to approach this Court by filing the present writ petition.
Mr. Aslam Ansari, learned Advocate for the Board fairly submitted that since the petitioner had already submitted her application for correction of her name and her father’s name, the same shall be considered by the competent authority.
Having considered the fair submission, this Court deems it fit and proper to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to respondent nos. 6 and 7 to consider the application/ representation of the petitioner, the copies of which are placed on record as Annexures-6 and 6/A to the writ petition and make necessary correction as per the available school record preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
The writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
