1.

The petitioner, who is 70 years of age, has approached this Court with a desperate plea that, he and his wife be allowed to see their grand child,

viz., Ms.Arya - who is the daughter of the 4th respondent. He alleges that, Ms. Arya is illegally detained by the 4th respondent and her father â€" the

5th respondent, and that they are refusing to even give him an opportunity to see her or interact with her.

2.

When this matter was called today, Smt. Rajeswary, learned counsel appearing for the 5th respondent, submitted that though the 4th respondent is

presently out of India, Ms. Arya is available and that the petitioner and his wife may visit her, whenever they want, as long as she is in Kochi.

3.

Sri.M.P.Madhavankutty, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that his client has been constrained to approach this Court only because even

in spite of persistent efforts, they were not able to meet Ms.Arya. He then submitted that since Smt.Rajeswary now says that the petitioner and his

wife can go and meet Ms.Arya at her house at Palluruthy, Kochi at any time, no further orders are required; except that the same be recorded.

4.

We thus order this writ petition, recording the submissions of Smt.Rajeswary, learned counsel appearing for respondents 4 and 5 that, whenever

Ms. Arya is available at the residence at Palluruthy, Kochi, the petitioner and his wife can meet and talk to her.

This writ petition is thus ordered.
