The instant petition has been filed for grant of following reliefs:-

"i) That a Writ in the nature of Mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the Respondents to provide proper water supply to village Jadhyal by laying separate water pipeline directly from pump house or from the main storage tank and take necessary effective steps immediately.

ii) That the respondents may be directed to adopt proper water distribution system so that village Jadhyal get sufficient potable water every day to fulfil the need of consumption to the habitants.

iii) That the respondents may be directed to provide sufficient potable water to the villagers of village Jadhyal to meet their drinking and other daily needs."

Learned Deputy Advocate General has placed on record instructions dated 14th October, 2020, received from the respondents, relevant portion whereof reads as under:-

"With reference to your office letter No.CWP 2219/2020-28665-666. It is hereby submitted that estimate has been approved for Rs.8,09,724/- only. Tenders are being called and shall be finalized within one month i.e. before 15th November, 2020. The work shall be completed within 9 months i.e. before July, 2021. This is submitted for your kind information and necessary action please."

Now, since the respondents have already called for tenders, which is likely to be finalized within one month, i.e. before 15th November, 2020 and work is likely to be completed as undertaken within nine months, i.e. before July, 2021, the present writ petition is disposed of as such. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
