These applications have been moved under Section 320 of Cr.P.C. Section 320 of Cr.P.C. is not applicable, as the remedy under Section 320 of Cr.P.C. is applicable before the trial Court only. Both the applications are closed.

Case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has solemnized marriage with respondent No.2/prosecutrix and they are living happily having one son also. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and prosecutrix have settled the dispute and on the basis of their settlement by invoking the inherent jurisdiction of this Court under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., FIR and all the proceedings be quashed.

Petitioner and prosecutrix are directed to file joint application for compromise/settlement along with their affidavits stating the fact that they have solemnized marriage and prosecutrix wants to settle the dispute with the accused.

Upon filing of such application, matter will be placed before the Principal Registrar on 28.05.2024 for verification of compromise.

Parties are directed to remain present before the Principal Registrar of this Court on 28.05.2024.
