The applicant’s father was a Safai Karamchari with the respondent EDMC. He expired on 26.07.2014 in a road accident after which the
applicant was appointed as daily wager on 28.07.20214. The applicant has contended that since his father was a regular worker, he should also be
give regular appointed on compassionate grounds as well as compensation of Rs.5.00 lacs. He has also given a representation on 07.12.2020 to this
effect.
Issue notice.
Shri Ravi Kant Jain, learned counsel for the respondents appears on advance notice and receives the same.
At this stage, learned counsel for the applicant states that he would be satisfied if the respondent is directed to decide the representation of the
applicant in a time bound manner.
Without entering into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to pass a reasoned and speaking order on the applicant’s
representation as per rules and law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
OA is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
