In the present writ petition, the petitioners have challenged the order dated 25.06.2025 (Annexure P-9) whereby, the claim of petitioners for regularization of service was rejected. The petitioners have also challenged the advertisement dated 12.04.2025 (Annexure P-6).

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that a similar issue came up for consideration before the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CWP No.26899 of 2025 titled as 'Nishi and another Vs. Panjab University and others' and the Co-ordinate Bench has allowed the above said writ petition vide judgment dated 06.11.2025. He further submits that as his case is similar, the present writ petition may also be disposed of in terms of Nishi and another's case (supra).

Notice of motion.

Ms. Neha Sonawane, AAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and Mr. Subhash Ahuja, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondent-University and does not object to the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent-University to consider the case of petitioners for regularization in terms of the judgment rendered in Nishi and another's case (supra).

Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand(s) disposed of accordingly.
