The contention of the petitioner is that the Gaon Sabha had recognized the allotment of the fairprice shop license under physically handicapped category, and now same is to be done for Scheduled Caste category.

As an interim measure, it is provided that allotment of the fairprice shop license , if made during the pendency of the writ petition, shall be subject to the result of the writ petition.
