K.C. Puri, J.—This is a petition u/s 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for quashing FIR No. 402 dated 03.10.2006 under Sections 420/467/468/471/120-B of the Indian Penal Code registered at Police Station Barwala, District Hisar, on the basis of compromise, along with all subsequent proceedings arising from that FIR. Report from the trial Court has been received in which it is mentioned that parties have arrived at a compromise.

This is a personal dispute which has been amicably settled.

In Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab and Another, the Hon''ble Apex Court has held that compromise should be allowed in case where the matter involved is personal in nature.

So, in view of the above circumstances and in view of Gian Singh''s case (supra), the above said FIR stands quashed. Further proceedings in pursuant to that FIR also stands quashed. Disposed of.
