Petitioner has filed the petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking following relief:- “That the retirement of the petitioner at the age of 58 years, may kindly be set aside and he may be held to be in service upto the age of 60 years with all consequential benefits as directed in the case of Baldev vs. State of HP and others.”

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the issue raised in this matter is squarely covered by a common judgment dated 22.02.2022, passed by the Full Bench of this Court in CWP No. 2711 of 2017 (Baldev versus State of Himachal Pradesh and others along with connected matter). Therefore, he prays that this petition may also be disposed of in terms of aforesaid judgment.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to examine the case of petitioner and pass appropriate orders in the light of the judgment, supra, within a period of two months from today. Petition stands disposed of including all pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
