Judgment
The petitioners have approached this court praying that the petitioners be not harassed, humiliated or tortured in connection with the FIR No.51/2020
registered at Police Station Mahila Thana Karauli under Sections 363 & 366 IPC.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are father and brother of the accused and are being harassed by the police and
therefore, they should be provided protection.
I have considered the submissions.
Taking into consideration the nature of allegations, the submission of the counsel for the petitioners does not have any basis. For investigation purpose,
obviously relatives of the accused would have to be asked to find out the whereabouts of the accused, however, it would not mean that if such inquiry
if being done, the petitioners are being humiliated or harassed. On the other hand, they must co-operate with the investigation.
In view thereof, no case for interference is made out. The writ petition is without basis and the same is accordingly dismissed.
