1.

By way of instant contempt petition, prayer has been made on behalf of the petitioners for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for having willfully and intentionally disobeyed the order dated 31.08.2018, passed by Erstwhile Himachal Pradesh Administrative Tribunal in OA No. 5289 of 2018, whereby learned Tribunal below while calling for the reply from the respondents, directed that status quo qua the applicants existing as on today (31.8.2018, the date of institution of the original application), shall be maintained till the next date of hearing.

2.

Having carefully perused the reply filed on behalf of the Managing Director, HRTC, this Court finds that before passing of order dated 31.08.2018 Office of the replying respondent had already directed the concerned Regional Managers to withdraw the trainees with immediate effect vide office memo dated 27.8.2018. Since necessary direction to all the concerned Regional Managers were issued prior to passing of the order alleged to have been violated, this Court finds no action to be contemptuous.

3.

Consequently, in view of the above, this Court sees no reason to keep the present petition alive and same is accordingly disposed of. Notices issued to the respondents are hereby discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
