The petitioners in the present writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seek directions for issuance of a writ in the nature
of mandamus directing the respondents to release their salary alongwith 24% interest from the date of entitlement till the date of actual payment.
It is the case of the petitioners that they were appointed as Coaches in separate games by the Deputy Commissioner in various schools. The
petitioners had as such served for a period of one year i.e. 02.02.2018 to 02.02.2019, but the salary has not been paid for the said period. Resultantly,
they had served legal notice dated 11.08.2020 (Annexure P-3) upon the respondents and, thus, the claim for payment of salary alongwith interest has
been made.

Keeping in view the fact that the decision making is incomplete, this Court is of the considered opinion that it is not necessary to call upon the
respondents for filing reply, as it would delay the proceedings.
Accordingly, without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed off with the direction to the respondent No.5 to
decide the said legal notice dated 11.08.2020 (Annexure P-3) within a period of two months from today. In case, the petitioners are found entitled for
the payment of the salary, the amount shall be duly reimbursed to them alongwith 6% interest from the date their services were terminated. In case,
the amounts are not payable and the petitioners did not work with the respondents, speaking order be passed and communicated to the petitioners
forthwith.
Disposed off.
