Judgment

The first respondent herein, i.e. Staff Selection Commission, issued an advertisement in respect of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2020. The applications were required to be uploaded between 29.12.2020 and 31.01.2021. This OA is filed with a prayer to direct the respondents to extend the time for submission of the applications by 10 days.
The applicants contend that the server of the respondents was down between 23.12.2020 and 31.01.2021 and thereby they could not upload their applications.
We heard Sh. Ajai Kr. Singh, learned counsel for the applicants and Ms. Anupama Bansal, learned counsel for the respondents, at the stage of admission.
The OA was listed on 09.03.2021. On that date, we directed the learned standing counsel for the respondents to inform this Tribunal as to whether any applications were received during the period referred to above.
A short counter affidavit is filed, together with the statement. It is stated that the server was not down at any point of time and as against 22,09,867 applications received in the 34 days, 7,39,424 were received between 23.12.2020 and 31.01.2021. The day-wise particulars were also furnished.
Under these circumstances, it cannot be said that there was any breakdown of the server, disabling the applicants to upload their applications.
We do not find any merit in the OA and the same is accordingly dismissed.
Pending MA also stands disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
