The present petition is filed by the petitioner praying inter alia for directions to the respondents No. 2 and 3 not to call him to the police station-without following the dsje process of law and not to harass him.

Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has been compelled to file the present petition as in the months of August and September 2010, some persons have been visiting his residence, claiming themselves to be the police officers and have been misbehaving with him, his wife and mother. He states that they have also been calling upon the petitioner to visit Police Stations; Vasant Kunj and Rohini. It is stated by the counsel for the petitioner that the background of the aforesaid case is that the petitioner had made a complaint against respondent No. 3 on the ground that he had been threatened by him at the Patiala House Courts, New Delhi, whereafter he and his family has been receiving threats from the aforesaid police officer.

Learned counsel, who appears for respondents No. 1 to 5, denies the above position and submits that respondent No. 3 is only the Investigating Officer in case FIR No. 135/2009 lodged at Police Station: Vasant Kunj and has no personal animus against the petitioner. It is further stated that the petitioner is involved in 11 cases in Delhi and 2 cases in Panchkula and neither he, nor the members of his family have been called by the police to visit Police Station: Vasant Kunj or Police Station: Rohini as alleged.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with directions to the respondents that if the petitioner is required, to be interrogated in any case, a written intimation calling upon him to visit the police station shall be sent. The petition is disposed of.
