Rajesh Bindal, J.—Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the Division Bench judgment of this court in Kartar Singh and Others Vs. The Union of India (UOI) and Others, at present the legal issue involved in the present petition is against the petitioner. However, he submitted that SLP filed against the aforesaid judgment is pending before Hon''ble the Supreme Court. He further submitted that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the present petition at this stage with liberty to file a fresh one in case the parties before Hon''ble the Supreme Court get relief in the case pending before it. Ordered accordingly.
