Notice of motion.
On the asking of this Court, Ms.Siran Grewal, AAG, Punjab accepts notice.
The petitioner has produced a certificate from Dr.P.S.Gulati, MBBS, M.D. (Med.), Gulati Poly Clinic & Nursing Home Jail Road, Filed Ganj, Ludhiana that surgery of Mrs. Harpreet Kaur wife of the petitioner/convict is to be performed after 22.9.2019 till 25.9.2019 for Angiography/Angioplasty. Further investigations will be done during this course. The Certificate is taken on record as Mark "A" and photocopy thereof has been handed over to Ms.Simran Grewal, AAG, Punjab. The period of parole is coming to an end on 11.9.2019.
In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction that the Superintendent of Jail would take note of the certificate taken on record as Mark "A" and look into the urgency for an emergency parole for Angiography/Angioplasty of the wife of the petitioner and take a decision well before 21.9.2019. The final order to be passed by the Superintendent Jail be conveyed to the petitioner immediately. In case the report is positive, then parole may be granted.
Copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties under the signature of Bench Secretary of this Court.
