Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are physically handicapped employees and have requested the respondent-
authority to consider their representations for posting them at a nearby stations to their place of permanent residence where, the posts are also lying
vacant.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already submitted the representations to the respondents, which have
been attached collectively as Annexure P/15 with the present writ petition and the same are still pending consideration with the competent authority
and the petitioners will be satisfied, at this stage, in case, the authorities are directed to take an appropriate decision on the said representations at the
earliest.
Mr. Charanpreet Singh, AAG, Punjab, who has joined the proceedings through video conference, keeping in view the service of advance copy of the
petition submits that in case, the petitioners have filed the representations (collectively attached as Annexure/15 with the present writ petition) raising
certain grievance/prayers, the same will be decided by the authorities concerned within a period of two months from today by passing an appropriate
speaking order on the said representations.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that keeping in view the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondents, he does not press this
writ petition any further and the same may be disposed of as such.
The present writ petition is disposed of having been not pressed.
It is made clear that the respondents will be bound by their statement recorded hereinabove.
