T.R. Ramachandran Nair, J.—The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking to quash Exts.P1, P4, P5 and P6. It is prayed that a direction may be issued to the Respondents to approve the service of the Petitioner with effect from 01.04.2005 considering the date of occurrence of vacancies.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Government has passed an order in the revision petition filed by the Petitioner as G.O.(Rt) No. 770/11/G. Edn dated 25.02.2011 wherein there is a direction to approve the appointment of the Petitioner with effect from 01.06.2005 till a vacancy exists to accommodate the Petitioner. The operative portion of the order reads thus:

Government have examined the matter in detail. The staff fixation of the school for the year 2005-2006, and 2006-07 shows that the post is maintainable in these years. The vacancy in which the Petitioner appointed was established with effect from 01/04/2005 itself and the manager had issued a valid appointment order in favour of the Petitioner with effect from 01/06/2005. In the circumstances the request of Smt. T.R. Seema in Ext.P5 is allowed and the Assistant Educational Officer, Trippunithura is directed to approve the appointment of the Petitioner with effect from 01/06/2005 till a vacancy exists to accommodate the Petitioner.

There will be a direction to the 1st Respondent to pass consequential orders for implementation of the above order of the Government within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment and consequential benefits also will be granted to the Petitioner.

This writ petition is disposed of as above.
