1.

The instant contempt petition being Contempt Case (Crl.) No. 04 of 2024 has been filed for not complying with the order dated 3rd July, 2023 passed in W.P (Cr.) No. 205 of 2023.

2.

In  the  said  order,  the  learned  Single  Judge  has  directed  the respondents to take action on the basis of representation given by the petitioner and granted a liberty to the petitioner to pursue the matter before the District Administration where the matter is pending.

3.

Learned counsel for the Opposite Party No. 2, on instructions, states that the said respondent has considered the representation of the petitioner and has taken certain actions in the matter though there is some delay in complying with the order.

4.

The counsel for the petitioner does not dispute that the Opposite Party No. 2 did take some action on the representation of the petitioner, but according to him, the grievance of the petitioner has not been fully redressed.

5.

However, we are of the opinion that no case of criminal contempt has been made out in the matter. Therefore, we close this criminal contempt proceeding granting a liberty to the petitioner to avail other remedy available to the petitioner under law.
