Judgment
The petitioner is the student of KHMHS Alathiyur, Malappuram District. Her team has participated in the Sub- District Level School Kalolsavam in ''Nadanpattu'' and got first prize and became eligible to participate in the District Level. In the District level, even though the team participated, they got only 4th rank with ''A'' Grade.
According to the petitioner, being aggrieved by the ranking, an appeal was preferred before the Appellate Committee constituted under the manual of guidelines issued for the purpose which is evident from Ext.P2 receipt. It is contended that in spite of earnest efforts of the petitioner, the appeal is not disposed off by the Appellate Committee. It is in this background seeking direction to dispose off the appeal preferred by the petitioner evident from Ext.P2, this writ petition is filed.
Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to take on board the appeal pertaining to Ext.P2 receipt dated 07.01.2017 submitted by the petitioner and consider the same in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or the Manager or Teacher in charge of the School and attain finality at the earliest, and at any rate within two days from the date of receipt of the copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
