The petitioner has filed an application for purchase certificate in respect of her property comprised in Re.Sy.Nos.668/1, 652/12, 637/9, 637/13,

673/10, 671/9 and 687/5 in Block No.13 of Mathur-I Village in Alathur Taluk of Palakkad District, before the respondent, which has been treated as

S.M.No.62/2022 as evident from Ext.P1 receipt. According to the petitioner, though the proceedings in the application for purchase certificate were

initiated on 12.01.2022, so far it has not attained finality. The limited prayer of the petitioner is for a direction to the respondent to pass orders on

S.M.No.62/2022 on the files of the respondent, within a time frame.

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for the respondent.

In the facts and circumstances of the case and in the nature of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of

directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on S.M.No.62/2022, within a period of eighteen months from the date of receipt of a copy of this

judgment.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
