Respondents.

Rule, made returnable forthwith. Heard forthwith by consent of the parties. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor waives service.

The Petitioner had sought for parole for 14 days while the competent authority has granted parole only for 7 days. Â The Petitioner by this Petition

is seeking extension of the parole by another week. The ground on which the parole is sought for is the ailment of the mother of the Petitioner who

is suffering from kidney failure. Considering the ground for seeking parole, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor in all fairness submits that he

has no objection for extension of the parole.

In the result, the Petition is allowed. The impugned order is modified to the extent of the period for which the Petitioner is to be released on

parole. The Petitioner shall be released on parole on similar conditions as set out in the order dated 17.05.2018 for a period of two weeks.

Authenticated copy be issued to the parties in accordance with law.
