Counsel for the petitioner orally requests to convert W.P.(Crl.) into Crl.M.C. (quashing petition).

Vide the present petition, petitioners seek direction thereby for quashing of FIR No.0553/2020, for the offences punishable under Sections 323/341/506/509/34 IPC, registered at PS Model Town, Delhi and all other proceedings arising therefrom.
Notice issued.
Notice is accepted by learned APP for State and by learned counsel for respondent No.2 and with the consent of counsel for parties, the present petition is taken up for final disposal.
The present petition is filed on the ground that parties have settled their disputes and respondent No.2 has no objection if the present petition is allowed.
Petitioners and respondent No.2 have entered into an amicable settlement vide settlement dated 01.08.2020.
Respondent No.2 is personally present in Court with his counsel and has been identified by WSI Jyoti Mann/IO and submits that matter has been settled and he does not wish to prosecute the matter any further.
Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to quash FIR as no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting petitioners any further.
For the reasons afore-recorded, FIR No.0553/2020, for the offences punishable under Sections 323/341/506/509/34 IPC, registered at PS Model Town, Delhi and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Parties shall abide by the terms and conditions of the settlement dated 1.08.2020 within one week failing which legal action shall be taken against the erring party.
The petition is, accordingly, allowed and disposed of.
