Antony Dominic, J.—In the Kozhikode Revenue District Kalolsavam, Petitioner participated in the item Bharathanatyam. She was given A Grade with 3rd prize. An appeal was filed, which was rejected by Ext.P3. Ext.P3 shows that the ground urged was "CD Problem". According to the Petitioner, during the course of the performance, CD slipped, as a result of which her performance was affected. However, such a problem could not have been caused on account of the CD player, which was provided for all the participants. If that be so, the organizers cannot be faulted for the Compact Disc that was made available by the Petitioner. That apart, the order also shows that while the first prize winner and the second prize winner had secured 231 and 228 marks, Petitioner secured only 223 marks. Apart from the vide disparity in the marks, it is also to be noticed that first and second prize winners, who will be affected if any order is passed in favour of the Petitioner, are not impleaded in this writ petition.

Writ petition is dismissed.
