Heard the parties.
Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Piparwar P.S. Case No. 13 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 341, 323, 325, 385, 387, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of Arms Act, pending in the court of Sri S.S. Tirkey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chatra.
On 02.04.2024 at 4.00 p.m., three persons came to the work site of the Informant and demanded rangdari. Accused persons belonged to TSPC, a naxal organization.
It was submitted that the petitioner is neither named in the FIR, nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons Masi Tigga and Kiran Nagdwar have been granted bail by this court earlier
Mr. Arup Kumar Dey, learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent.
Considering the fact that there is no cogent material against the petitioner on the record, petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri S.S. Tirkey, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Chatra in connection with Piparwar P.S. Case No. 13 of 2024.
