Communication bearing Memo No.2314 D & SJ (S) dated 01.11.2022 from Office of the District Judge, South Sikkim at Namchi has been received by the Registrar General of this Court by which the learned District Judge has sought for further time till April, 2023 to comply with the order passed by this Court earlier. It is stated that since both the parties have decided to examine several witnesses it would necessarily take that much time.

Heard Mr. T. B. Thapa, learned Senior Counsel for the respondent as well as Mr. S.K. Chettri, learned Government Advocate for the appellants. The learned counsel submits that time sought by the learned District Judge is reasonable.

In view of the submissions of the counsel and prayer of the learned District Judge, the time as prayed is granted till 30th April, 2023.
