By way of present petition, petitioner has prayed for following main relief(s):

“i. That the respondents may be directed to consider the candidature of the petitioner on the basis of degree by adding field experience from the

date when he become eligible to be considered for the post senior residency by reading down annexure P-11 and P-12 in favour of the petitioner.

ii. That respondents may further be directed to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Senior Resident, ENT as he has already been

shown as Senior Resident at Dr. Y.S. Parmar Government Medical College, Nahan, District Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh.

iii. That the record of the selection be called for the kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court.â€​

Today, during proceedings of the case, learned Additional Advocate General has made available copy of communication dated 15.10.2020, sent

under the signatures of Director, Medical Education and Research, Himachal Pradesh, perusal whereof reveals that during counselling held on

13.10.2020 to fill up the post of Senior Resident/Tutor (Specialist) in Government Medical Colleges of the State, Counselling Committee has allotted

seat to Dr. Yashpal Sharma (petitioner) in order of merit-cum-choice of college, as such, present petition has been rendered infructuous.

Having carefully perused the aforesaid communication, Mr. Tara Singh Chauhan, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, seeks permission to

withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh at an appropriate stage.

In view of above, present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous alongwith all pending application, with liberty as prayed for.

Interim directions, if any, stand vacated.
